SIDRA 2023

some gardens we can see and some we can visit. others…. we only understand by being with them.

here, mature Acacias converge into a micro forest, shading family rituals of cooking and dining in nature. the garden’s proximity to the community park is its biggest strength. so, we challenged ourselves to ensure the garden felt like more of a park, than of an intensively cultivated space.

now the kids can play basketball without there being a basketball court. they can kick a football without a dedicated pitch. we can cook without celebrating the kitchen.

the result is a garden which works - yes - as a place of doing, but more as a place of being.
